The homeowners felt their kitchen “was not their own” – outdated, inefficient and not their taste.
By changing the location of the appliances, eliminating the closet and adding an island, we were able to achieve many of their objectives. The finishes were replaced with cherry wood cabinets, hardwood floors, granite countertops and high end appliances. Accents such as the sage color on the island and the custom designed tile vignette over the stove spice up the space and are reflective of the homeowners’ style. The homeowner is a single professional who wanted to completely renovate her home to reflect her style and way of life. She wanted to add space and perform updates that would enhance the comfort and functionality for herself and her family who visit often.
